In Malaysia, a Professional Engineer must be a registered Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia. It is mandatory for university graduates with accredited engineering education qualification to register as a Graduate Engineer if he/she wants to take up employment as a Graduate Engineer.
