Indeed, the situation got worse. Rescue boats were deployed to carry us as the
             fl f f ood was estimated to prevail until Sunday. I was put on a boat that was heading

             to the nearest hill, which coincidentally was the hill my house was on. The boat
             ran out of raincoats, so I had to use my tiny umbrella to block bucket loads of
             water splashing at me during the boat ride. It was a miracle that I even made it

             home, as the boat nearly tipped over when a heavy passenger decided to lean over.
             When I reached home, I was soaked. I went to change when suddenly…



                 “Bang!”



                  A lightning bolt struck my house. The strike was so strong that the electricity
             was cut offff . Some appliances, such as my beloved limited-edition game consollleee,
             even started smoking! I had had enough at this point that I did not evennn fffeeffff el saaaddd

             or angered. I was just numb to what happened on this day. As iiifff EEEarthhh hhhad not
             played enough pranks on me, my phone died right aftff errr rrreeeceivvviiinnng a notice that

             school was going to be conducted online today. I sstttoooppppppeeeddd ccaring about school foff r
             the entire day as I could not even do anythinngg wwiitthhout electricity.



                 As nigghht came, I crawled bbaacckk iinto bed, feff eling slight relief as I knew my house
             was nnoot goiinngg to bee ffllfff ooodded. I also got to sleep with the calming sounds of

             r raaiindrops andd tthhee cool air frff om outside. I started driftff ing into my sleep…


                 “BBaanngg!”



                 Oh, wwhheen wwiill thiiss lloong dday ever end?
