‘Taste Life’
of
of a Beloved Educator
By Ms Crystal Kong Friends and Madam Tan’s students come
together to celebrate the book launch at CHKL.
On a warm September morning, the Auditorium Dato' Tan Hwa Ho at
Chong Hwa Independent High School was filled with the joyous memories and
heartfelt tributes to Madam Tan Choon Moi, our beloved former Head of the
English Language Department and Voluntary Service Department. It was the
launch of her book, Taste of Life, a collection of 25 life lessons that captured
the essence of her unwavering spirit and compassionate nature.
The late Madam Tan had been a guiding light for generations of
students and educators alike. Her strong belief in "Love in Action" inspired all Sharing a moment of silence together in remembrance of the late Madam Tan.
who knew her to spread kindness and empowerment through their words and
deeds. Madam Tan always had a soft spot for those who struggled, whether
financially or academically and she would do her best to mitigate their
