As my shift came to an end, I joined my
friends on a thrilling adventure in the escape
room hosted by SM3 S Xiao. The theme of the
room was ‘The Gagliardi Manor: Souls Bound
in Shadows.’ The backstory was both eerie and
captivating: a family of four had mysteriously
vanished from their remote mansion decades
ago and local legends claimed their souls were
trapped within, with ghosts roaming the halls
in their likeness. The narrator introduced our
role in the game: as online explorers with an
eager fan base, our followers had implored
us to uncover the truth behind this haunted
manor. The setup of the escape room, created
by SM3 S Xiao students, was nothing short
of incredible. Every detail was meticulously
designed, creating an atmosphere that was
both haunting and thrilling. The experience
was not only spine-chilling but also captivating,
keeping us on edge from start to finish, making
it an unforgettable and truly memorable
adventure.

After the escape room, I explored the
school. I could see the staff and teachers
working tirelessly behind the scenes, with sweat
dripping off them as they worked in the hot and
humid environment. We truly owe a huge debt
of gratitude to the people behind the scenes
at the charity sale, whose efforts ensured
the venue remained spotless throughout the
bustling event. Despite the stream of visitors,
they worked behind the scenes with enthusiasm
and efficiency. Their dedication allowed the sale
to flow seamlessly, creating a welcoming and up, I looked around and felt a deep sense of
comfortable atmosphere for all visitors. Special gratitude for the experience. Reflecting on the
recognition must also go to the members of hours spent working with friends, teachers,
St. John Ambulance Society, the Student Police and volunteers who are fellow Chong Hwa
Force, and the Prefect Society. Their presence Ren of the Chong Hwa family, I could not help
ensured that the event remained orderly but feel proud of the incredible spirit of unity
and safe. Whether it was guiding visitors or and dedication that had brought the School
providing assistance, they played a vital role in Carnival 2024. This event was more than just
maintaining the order for the day. It was really a charity sale; it was a testament to the strength

The event ended with a feeling of Chong Hwa Independent High School. Let us
accomplishment among us who had worked strive towards a brighter future for our school
