After the competition, we had the privilege of interviewing the talented winners, gaining insight into

            the dedication and effort they invested in preparing for this event.

            What inspired you to choose the poem you recited today?







                                           Yi Ming (5AC He):
                                          The ongoing wars  in the Middle East and between Ukraine and
                                          Russia inspired me to recite “The Charge Of The Light Brigade” by
                                          Alfred, Lord Tennyson, in honour of the courage and sacrifice of the
                                         soldiers. Ms Meagan recommended the poem after I asked for a
                                         recommendation on a dramatic poetry.
