About LU<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Lingnan University is the liberal arts university in Hong Kong and we have the longest established tradition among the local institutions of higher education. Our history can be dated back to 1888, when our forerunner, the Christian College in China, was founded in Guangzhou, and to 1967, when the institution, as Lingnan College, was re-established in Hong Kong. In 2015, Lingnan University was named as one of the \u201cTop 10 Liberal Arts College in Asia\u201d by Forbes. We were also ranked 2nd worldwide for Quality Education (Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings 2020) and among the top 100 Asian universities (QS, 2018).<\/p>\n

We offer undergraduate, taught postgraduate and research postgraduate programmes in the areas of Arts, Business and Social Sciences, and our broad curriculum covers an array of general education and interdisciplinary courses to provide students with a firm knowledge foundation across different subjects. We groom students to think critically and creatively, judge independently, care genuinely, and act appropriately and responsibly, and we prepare them to pursue their goals in a rapidly changing environment.<\/p>\n

True to our identity as a liberal arts university, we are characterised by our broad-based curriculum, a fully residential campus, close faculty-student relationship and an emphasis on exchange and extra-curricular learning experiences.<\/p>\n

To gain experience in real work settings and broaden exposure in culturally diverse environments, Lingnan students can participate in various international internship programmes including ASEAN Internship Scheme, Global Internships, Disney Cultural Exchange Program, Mainland Summer Internship Programme and many others. Over 80% of our undergraduates can spend a term studying abroad in one of our 250+ partner institutions in about 49 countries, or participate in short-term summer\/ winter programmes. We also uphold our motto \u201cEducation for Service\u201d by providing students with service-learning and community service opportunities for engaging with society and helping those in need.<\/p>\n

\u5cad\u5357\u5927\u5b66\uff08\u5cad\u5927\uff09\u662f\u9999\u6e2f\u7684\u535a\u96c5\u5927\u5b66\uff0c\u5728\u672c\u5730\u9ad8\u7b49\u9662\u6821\u4e2d\u5386\u53f2\u6700\u60a0\u4e45\u3002\u5cad\u5927\u7684\u5386\u53f2\u53ef\u8ffd\u6eaf\u81f31888\u5e74\u5176\u524d\u8eab\u300c\u683c\u81f4\u4e66\u9662\u300d\u5728\u5e7f\u5dde\u521b\u6821\u5f00\u59cb\uff0c\u5176\u540e\u4e8e1967\u5e74\u4ee5\u5cad\u5357\u4e66\u9662\u4e4b\u540d\u5728\u9999\u6e2f\u590d\u6821\u30022015\u5e74\uff0c\u5cad\u5927\u88ab\u300a\u798f\u5e03\u65af\u300b\u8bc4\u4e3a\u300c\u4e9a\u6d32\u5341\u5927\u9876\u5c16\u535a\u96c5\u5b66\u9662\u300d\u4e4b\u4e00\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u4e8e2020\u5e74\u6cf0\u6664\u58eb\u9ad8\u7b49\u6559\u80b2\u5927\u5b66\u5f71\u54cd\u529b\u6392\u540d\u4e2d\u300c\u4f18\u8d28\u6559\u80b2\u300d\u4f4d\u5217\u5168\u7403\u7b2c\u4e8c\uff0c\u57282018 QS \u4e9a\u6d32\u5927\u5b66\u6392\u540d\u4e2d\u4ea6\u83b7\u8bc4\u4e3a\u4e9a\u6d32\u9996100\u540d\u5b66\u5e9c\u3002<\/p>\n

\u5cad\u5927\u63d0\u4f9b\u7684\u672c\u79d1\u751f\u8bfe\u7a0b\u3001\u4fee\u8bfe\u5f0f\u7814\u7a76\u751f\u8bfe\u7a0b\u548c\u6db5\u76d6\u4eba\u6587\u5b66\u3001\u5546\u5b66\u548c\u793e\u4f1a\u79d1\u5b66\u7684\u8303\u7574\uff0c\u5168\u9762\u7684\u8bfe\u7a0b\u5185\u5bb9\u5305\u62ec\u901a\u8bc6\u53ca\u8de8\u5b66\u79d1\u79d1\u76ee\uff0c\u4ee5\u5de9\u56fa\u5b66\u751f\u4e0d\u540c\u5b66\u79d1\u7684\u77e5\u8bc6\u57fa\u7840\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u57f9\u80b2\u5b66\u751f\u614e\u601d\u660e\u8fa8\u7684\u80fd\u529b\u53ca\u521b\u65b0\u7684\u601d\u7ef4\uff0c\u5e76\u80fd\u72ec\u7acb\u601d\u8003\uff0c\u5173\u6000\u793e\u4f1a\uff0c\u627f\u62c5\u793e\u4f1a\u8d23\u4efb\uff0c\u4f7f\u4ed6\u4eec\u6bd5\u4e1a\u540e\u80fd\u5728\u77ac\u606f\u4e07\u53d8\u7684\u73af\u5883\u4e2d\uff0c\u8ffd\u6c42\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u76ee\u6807\u3002<\/p>\n

\u5cad\u5927\u901a\u8fc7\u4ee5\u4e0b\u6a21\u5f0f\u5b9e\u8df5\u535a\u96c5\u6559\u80b2\uff1a\u57fa\u7840\u5bbd\u5e7f\u7684\u8bfe\u7a0b\u8bbe\u8ba1\u3001\u5168\u9762\u7684\u6821\u56ed\u4f4f\u5bbf\u3001\u7d27\u5bc6\u7684\u5e08\u751f\u5173\u7cfb\uff0c\u548c\u4e30\u5bcc\u591a\u91c7\u7684\u4ea4\u6d41\u548c\u8bfe\u5916\u5b66\u4e60\u6d3b\u52a8\u3002<\/p>\n
