TAR UMT Sports Scholarship is offered to qualified students who have a good track record in sports.
VALUES OF THE AWARD:
Awarding of Scholarships are categorised as below:
| CRITERIA | WAIVER OF TUITION FEE |
| National athletes who have represented Malaysia in Sanctioned International Games or Championships including Southeast Asian Games, Universiade Games, ASEAN University Games, and ASEAN School Games. | 100% |
| State athletes who have represented state in National Sanctioned Games or Championships (Southeast Asian Games, Universiade Games, ASEAN University Games, MSSM, SUKMA, SUKIPT and won at least a bronze medal. | 50% |
| State athletes who have represented state in National Sanctioned Games or Championships (Asian University Games, MSSM and SUKMA). | 25% |
